FC Dallas striker Dominique Badji left Saturday's game with what appeared to be a leg injury, making a rough start to the match against the New York Red Bulls even more difficult for the home side at Toyota Stadium.
Badji, who scored in last week's loss at Houston, got the start Saturday against New York. He went up for a header in the 28th minute and drew contact from a Red Bulls defender, then fell to the pitch and needed help walking off.
The substitution came in the 29th minute, with Jesus Ferreira coming on for Dallas. Ferrira went on to score an equalizer in first-half stoppage time after the Red Bulls took an early lead.
