FC Dallas are sending two more young talents from DFW to Bavaria, as the club on Wednesday announced that Homegrown midfielders Thomas Roberts and Brandon Servania have joined Bayern Munich for a 10-day training period in Germany.

It’s the latest exchange in the two clubs’ “Elite Player Development Partnership,” unveiled in February, which has already seen FCD Homegrown defender Chris Richards head to Bayern’s U-19 side on loan in July.

Roberts, 17, signed as the 23rd HGP in FCD history on July 25. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, the playmaker has a prolific scoring record in U.S. Soccer Development Academy play since joining the club in 2013 and has scored one goal in two appearances for Dallas’ U-19 team in the 2018-19 DA season that kicked off last month. He’s already spent time at Bayern, having taken part in a similar 10-day training stint earlier this season along with Richards.

Servania, 18, signed his HGP deal on Jan. 3 after excelling in a single season of NCAA play at Wake Forest. A member of FCD’s academy since 2015, he helped Dallas’ U-16s win the DA national championship in 2016 and played in 17 USL games this year on loan to Tulsa Roughnecks FC.
