The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued three fines following Week 16 of the 2017 MLS regular season.


Schweinsteiger hands to face/head/neck


The Disciplinary Committee has issued an undisclosed fine to Chicago Fire midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger for violation of league policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. The incident took place in the 70th minute of Chicago's match against the New England Revolution on June 17.


Ciman hands to face/head/neck


The Disciplinary Committee has issued an undisclosed fine to Montreal Impact defender Laurent Ciman for violation of league policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. The incident took place in the 90th minute of Montreal's match against Orlando City on June 17.


Ousted instigating and escalating an incident


The The Disciplinary Committee has issued an undisclosed fine to Vancouver Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted for instigating an escalating an incident in the 82nd minute of Vancouver's match against FC Dallas on June 17.
