It was a banner day for the Seattle Sounders on Sunday. Literally.
Prior to hosting the New York Red Bulls in their 2017 home opener, the Sounders unveiled their 2016 MLS Cup championship banner at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington. The banner is rave green and positioned next to the white one that commemorates the Sounders' 2014 Supporters' Shield title.
