Minnesota United reportedly talking with Finnish midfielder Rasmus Schuller

Rasmus Schuller - Finland vs Mexico

Minnesota United's midfield may soon be getting a boost.

FiftyFive. One cited a report from Swedish journalist Daniel Kristoffersson on Tuesday that said that Minnesota United are in advanced negotiations with veteran defensive midfielder Rasmus Schuller. The MLS expansion club may reportedly have to pay a transfer fee to BK Hacken if they wish to land the 25-year-old Schuller, who just joined the Swedish side last season and is a Finnish international.

Additionally, FiftyFive. One reported details earlier this week as to when United plan to launch their academy and USL reserve team. The outlet, in a separate report, also stated that United are close to finalizing terms to upgrade the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota.

ā€œThis is going to be one of the top MLS training facilities in the league," Minnesota United spokesman Eric Durkee told FiftyFive.One.
