Problem: Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm local time. You've got your brand new 2014 team kit, supporters group scarf and all the tailgating food and drink your entire group will need.
You are officially ready to walk out the door and head for the stadium.
But wait, something doesn't quite feel right. Check your wrist — it's the watch. Sure, it's a nice watch, but you're headed to a soccer game. Lose the fancy dress watch already.
Solution: Modify Watches.
Modify Watches, a custom watch company based out of San Francisco, are currently running a Kickstarter campaign which, if its goal is met, would allow them to create custom, one-of-a-kind, mod-to-order watches.
And what's so great about Modify's mod-to-order concept for the North American soccer fan, you ask? MLS team and US national team watches, of course. And not just plain, boring watch designs with a logo lazily slapped in the middle of the plain face and a boring, nuetral-colored band.
The great thing about Modify's concept is that, just like the name suggests, you can modify your watch anytime you want based on where you're going, what you're doing and who you're doing it with. Just pop the face right out of one band and into another, mix and match and create as many different watch combinations as your inventory allows.
So take a few minutes to check out Modify's story and the things they're planning to do with the Kickstarter funding, and perhaps you'll consider donating to the campaign. Some levels of support even include your first mod-to-order face, which could be your favorite MLS team or USMNT design, and accompanying band(s).
