Simeon Jackson’s days in the English Premier League appear to be at an end. Norwich announced on Monday that the Canadian national team forward is among the 10 players that will not be offered a new contract when they expire at the end of June.
Jackson joined the Canaries in 2010 and famously scored the goal against Portsmouth that brought them to the Premier League in 2011. But this season, he’s seen his time diminish and scored just once in 13 appearances this season as Norwich finished in 11th place.
Forward Marcus Haber is also looking for a new club as his current team, Stevenage, has transfer listed the player after finishing in 18th place in England's League One. Haber scored seven times in 42 appearances this season.
On the field, it was a memorable week for Lucas Cavallini, who scored his seventh and eighth goals of the Uruguayan Clausura season as he led Juventud de Las Piedras to a 4-2 win over Progreso on Sunday. Juventud are up to eighth with two games remaining.
Over in Germany, it was last-day salvation for Marcel de Jong and Augsburg as they were assured of another season in the Bundesliga, vaulting ahead of Fortuna Dusseldorf with a 3-1 win over Greuther Fürth last Saturday. De Jong came on in the 89th minute of the game.
The 2.Bundesliga season also came to an end and it was a winning conclusion for Rob Friend and 1860 Munich as they beat Aalen 3-0 on Sunday. Friend played the full 90 minutes and finished with four goals after joining the team in January.
For Julian de Guzman and Jahn Regensburg, the season ended in much the same way most games have this season. Already doomed to the foot of the league and relegation, de Guzman played the whole game as Regensburg lost 3-1 to Dynamo Dresden on Sunday, ending the season with five losses in a row.

In Scotland, Andre Hainault’s season ended with a bang as he scored his first goal since joining Ross County at the beginning of the year as they beat Inverness Caldonian Thistle 1-0 on Sunday. Ross finished in fifth place in the Scottish Premier League.
In Sweden, Kenny Stamatopoulos was in goal on Saturday for AIK as they beat Öster 3-2. AIK are up to eighth place in the Allsvenskan standings. Stamatopoulos looks to be the starting 'keeper for the foreseeable future after the tragic and sudden passing of Ivan Turina earlier this month.
Down in the Superettan, the good form continues for Nik Ledgerwood and Hammarby as they won their third game in a row on Monday. Ledgerwood played his customary 90 minutes in the midfield as they beat Landskrona 1-0 to move into a three-way tie for second place in the table with 14 points through the season’s first seven games.
In Norway, Tosaint Ricketts is still looking for his first goal of the season after starting and going 75 minutes for Sandnes Ulf as they lost 1-0 to Viking Stavanger. Sandnes have 10 points through the first 11 games in the Eliteserien.
In Israel, forward Daniel Haber is turning a few heads as he gets some playing time for Maccabi Haifa, who have already clinched second place in the Ligat ha’Al. Haber opted to forego his senior year at Cornell University when he joined Haifa in January. His second goal in three games was the winner on Saturday as Maccabi beat Hapoel Tel Aviv 3-2 on the final day of the season.
In Portugal, Pedro Pacheco and Santa Clara finished in 11th place in the Liga de Honra after they tied Benfica II 2-2 on Saturday, with Pacheco playing the full game. He finished the season with four goals.
