The Seattle Sounders will get another crack at Chelsea.
Exactly three years after dropping a 2-0 result at home against the Blues in 2009, the Sounders will face Chelsea on July 18 in a World Football Challenge match to be played at Century Link Field.
Back in 2009, the match-up between the two clubs at CenturyLink Field drew more than 65,000 fans. They saw first-half goals by Daniel Sturridge and Frank Lampard, as Chelsea secured the win over a Sounders team in its debut MLS season.
Tickets for the July 18 match are available as part of a 4-match package. Individual tickets go on sale on Monday, June 4. Season ticket holders automatically get a ticket as part of their package.
