Columbus Crew interim general manager Mark McCullers announced Friday that the Crew will hold its First Annual Columbus Crew Foundation auction on Saturday, Aug. 21.

The auction will take place before and after the Crew's home game vs. D.C. United and teenage phenom Freddy Adu at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The auction will take place in the Stadium Club tent located on the west side of Crew Stadium beginning at 6 p.m. when gates open for the game. The auction will run for an hour and a half until the game starts at 7:30 p.m. It will close for the duration of the game before resuming for a final 45 minutes after the game is over.

All proceeds will go to the Columbus Crew Foundation [501(c) 3], benefiting the Crew's Kicks for Kids program. Kicks for Kids is a partnership program providing Crew game tickets for local children's organizations. It's an opportunity to give disadvantaged children, honor students, and other great kids the experience of a lifetime.
