CAREER

2021: Héber spent the early parts of the season continuing his rehabilitation from the ligament injury he suffered the previous season. He made his welcome return to the first team against FC Dallas in September. From there, he continued to build up his fitness with seven regular season appearances, as well as a start in the playoff meeting with Philadelphia Union.

2020: The Brazilian had a difficult campaign that was disrupted by a ruptured cruciate ligament injury he suffered in September. Prior to that, he registered one goal and two assists in 12 MLS regular-season games.

2019: Héber played in 22 matches for NYCFC after making his debut on April 6. Since joining the club, the Brazilian scored 15 goals and recorded four assists in his first season. His lightning start earned him the Newcomer of the Year for 2019 title on behalf of the club and he was the recipient of the Goal of the Year title at the end of year fan awards party for his backheeled winner vs. the Red Bulls.

2018: In 2018, Héber scored 10 goals in 30 appearances for the Croatian club before joining NYCFC. He won the “SN Yellow Shirt Award,” the highest honor awarded to a Croatian first division player, after a campaign which saw him play and score in the UEFA Champions League qualifying stages. The Brazilian also led Rijeka to the UEFA Europa League group stages that same season.

2017: The Brazilian joined HNK Rijeka and scored 25 goals in 38 appearances for the club.

2016: Héber played in the Armenian Premier League for Alashkert where he earned the title of top goalscorer for the 2015/2016 season.
