Career Summary

HOW ACQUIRED: Signed a Generation adidas contract Jan. 14, 2021, selected No. 2 overall in the 2021 SuperDraft

The lanky attacker is a product of one of college soccer’s top talent laboratories, the Wake Forest program that’s churned out a long list of professionals like Ike Opara, Michael Parkhurst, Sam Cronin and Jack Harrison. And that was after playing for the academy of New Zealand-based A-League club Wellington Phoenix.

COLLEGE: In two seasons with the Demon Deacons, the Middlesbrough, England, native appeared in 32 games with 25-straight starts, collecting 10 goals and five assists. During his freshman campaign in 2019, Harris scored six goals including three game-winning strikes to help lead Wake Forest to its sixth College Cup appearance. He earned All-ACC Freshman Team honors for his efforts. Harris also started all nine games during the fall 2020 season, collecting four goals to go along with two assists. In Wake Forest's season-opening 3-1 victory over Louisville, he tallied an assist on the Deacs' first goal of the year before adding one of his own to be selected as ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

OUTSIDE MLS: Prior to joining Wake Forest University, Harris made six appearances, scoring two goals, in the 2018-19 New Zealand Premiership season with the Wellington Phoenix reserves.
