UPDATE: U.S. Soccer confirmed on Tuesday Tall's tournament-ending injury.
Tall was one of the USMNT's strongest performers in their tournament-opening 2-1 win over the Southeast Asian side. He scored the equalizing goal in the 18th minute with an acrobatic finish, and showed well with his limited touches. However, he was replaced by Bradford Jamieson IV in the 49th minute.
Per FIFA regulations, the US will not be able to name a replacement for Tall, who only made his debut for the US U-20s in an April friendly. He has also represented France and the Ivory Coast at the youth levels. At the club level, Tall most recently played for in France's third division for Red Star FC, on loan from Lille, where he was part of the squad that won the league title and promotion to Ligue 2.
