In the first of two Concacaf Gold Cup tune-up matches, the US men’s national team returns to Washington D.C. to meet Jamaica Wednesday night at Audi Field.
Jamaica, which reached the Gold Cup final in each of its last two editions, figures to be a formidable foe. The Reggae Boyz are one of just two teams — Brazil being the other — to have beaten the US in the Gold Cup semifinals.
The US will then head to Nippert Stadium to take on Venezuela Sunday before opening Gold Cup play against Guyana at Allianz Field on June 18.
