Has Jurgen Klinsmann found another dual-citizen for the US national team?

According to an Israeli report, Israeli-American midfielder Kenny Saief, who plays with KAA Gent in the Belgian first division, has been told to expect a call-up to the US national team soon. A US Soccer spokesperson confirmed on Thursday that the federation has scouted Saief.

Saief, 21, was born in Panama City, Florida to Israeli parents, and moved back to Israel when he was four. He has scored four goals in 31 appearances since joining Gent prior to the 2014-15 season. He made five appearances for the Belgian club during this year's UEFA Champions League group stage, helping the team finish in second in Group H to advance to the Round of 16.

Saief, who, prior to moving to Gent, played for four different Israeli teams, has appeared for Israel as a youth international over the past seven years.
