Could a big attacking reinforcement be on the way for Nashville SC?

According to a report from Juan Felipe Cadavid, Nashville are interested in Colombian rising star forward Deiber Caicedo, who currently plays for Deportivo Cali and has represented the Colombian youth national teams. 

Caicedo, 20, is a product of Cali's youth system and has made 52 appearances for the first team, with four goals and 13 assists. A versatile forward, he can play through the center or on the wing. previously reported on Nashville's interest in forwards Ake Loba and Maxi Romero, two young and exciting goalscorers. Caicedo would fit within that profile. 

The expansion club have returned to play to encouraging results, picking up four points over two games at FC Dallas. They return to play on the road again against Atlanta United Saturday (7 pm ET | MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, on DAZN in Canada) their second meeting with the reigning US Open Cup champions of their young season. They currently lead the league in expected goals against and picked up back-to-back shutouts against Dallas.
