Newcomer Jaqua an immediate contributor

Forward Nate Jaqua has only played with Houston Dynamo for four games since being traded to the club by the Los Angeles Galaxy, but he has already made an immediate impact on the team. He has scored one goal and had two assists in those four games.

Jaqua attributes his success, in part, to the camaraderie in the Dynamo locker room.

"It's an easy group to come into. I've felt really welcomed and they play a good style and everyone plays within themselves," he said. "It's a good team environment and it helps. You come in and it's easy to adjust."

In fact, the transition to a new team mid-season has not been hard for Jaqua because of the quality of the players.

"The transition has been pretty easy. Outside of soccer it's been hard with moving. But the team side of it has been very easy," Jaqua said.

Jaqua is looking forward to being on a championship-caliber team. His expectations for the team are set high, with winning Dynamo's second straight MLS Cup a priority.

"The Dynamo is a great team," Jaqua said. "Hopefully we can win a championship -- I haven't done that in my career. I'd like to help the team win another championship."
