INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Houston Dynamo have selected Midfielder Eric Ebert with the 52nd overall pick (13th pick in the fourth round) of today's MLS SuperDraft.
Originally from Irvine, CA, Ebert, 6' 0", 175 pounds, comes to the Dynamo from the University of California Berkley, where he accrued 12 goals and 5 assists in 80 games played throughout his four-year career.
While playing for UCB, Ebert was a member of the NSCAA Far West All-Region First Team and All-Pac-10 First Team in 2006.
As a high school player, Ebert played for Woodbridge High School, where he earned the distinction of being a three-time All-Sea View selection and the Irvine World News Athlete of the Year in 2003.
