FC Dallas Western Conference Semifinal Game One to be televised on UPN 21

DALLAS, Texas - FC Dallas Interim General Manager John Alper confirmed today that the club's broadcast of Game One of the Western Conference Semifinal series against the Colorado Rapids will be broadcast on KTXA-DT UPN 21, through its digital signal which is available to all Comcast cable subscribers.


Game One of this series will be played on Saturday, October 22 at INVESCO Field at Mile High in Denver beginning at 8 p.m. (CDT). This match will be televised live on UPN 21 (digital only) with Glenn Davis and Dave Dir having the call beginning at 8 p.m. The analog broadcast will be upconverted to air on KTXA-DT, which can be viewed by those with an over-the-air digital High Definition television receiver on channel 21.1 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. KTXA-DT can also be seen on Comcast channel 658 in Dallas, Mesquite, Plano and Richardson and on Comcast channel 215 in the remainder of the service area.


Additionally, this game can be seen live in its entirety on Fox Soccer Channel and the MLS Direct Kick package on both DirecTV and DISH Network.

In the instance that the FC Dallas-Colorado series is tied on total goals at the end of regulation of Game Two, the series will be decided by 30-minutes (two 15-minute halves) of Extra Time, played in its entirety. If the score remains level, the match will be decided by penalty kicks.


If the Hoops are able to advance past Colorado in the Conference Semifinals, they will advance to the single game Western Conference Final against either San Jose or Los Angeles. If San Jose were to advance from that series, it would host Dallas at Spartan Stadium on Saturday, November 5 at 9 p.m. (CDT). If the Galaxy are able to upset the top seeded Earthquakes, they will travel to Pizza Hut Park for the Western Conference Final, also to be played on Saturday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m.
