A German Denis hat-trick helped Napoli to an emphatic victory over rock-bottom Reggina which saw the Azzurri remain joint top of the Serie A table.
Denis grabbed his first of the game after just seven minutes and doubled his tally less than 10 minutes later, before completing his hat-trick shortly after the hour mark.
Napoli are level on 20 points with Udinese - two points clear of Internazionale - while Reggina remain bottom of the pile.
Reggina were keen to avoid a fifth straight away defeat but suffered the worst possible start when great play from Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marek Hamsik saw the ball fall to Denis who fired home under the crossbar from close range.
The hosts almost grabbed another immediately afterward but Lavezzi just failed to get on the end of Hamsik's cross.
However, Napoli were further ahead when Denis doubled his and his side's tally in the 16th minute thanks mainly to Hamsik who beat the offside trap before dragging the ball back to the Argentina striker for a simple tap in.
Denis almost completed his hat-trick in less than half an hour but he blazed Christian Maggio's cross over the bar from the edge of the area.
Lavezzi came close to getting his name on the scoresheet in the 35th minute but Reggina keeper Andrea Campagnolo did well to palm away his effort.
Napoli should have gone in at the break further in front as Bernardo Corradi latched onto a brilliant pass from Hamsik but the former Manchester City man went wide of the left upright.
Having threatened to run riot in the first half, Napoli took their foot off the gas after the break but still threatened.
Daniele Mannini could have put his side out of sight 10 minutes into the second half but he blasted Lavezzi's pass over the bar from 25 yards out.
Denis, who joined the Azzurri from Argentina side Independiente in the summer, completed his first ever Napoli hat-trick in the 63rd minute, latching onto a great pass from Maggio before slotting the ball into an empty net from close range.
It was only then that the visitors got a look in.
Reggina, who recorded their first win of the season last weekend, lacked any creativity and it took them until the 75th minute to record their first shot on target as Napoli keeper Nicolas Navarro - who had been largely a spectator for the whole match - made his first save of the game, parrying a shot from Djordje Rakic.
Marcelo Zalayeta almost extended Napoli's lead still further seconds after coming off the bench but, inches away from goal, he could not get on the end of Walter Gargano's pass which was just slightly too long.
Reggina should have grabbed a goal back in the 81st minute but Rakic missed a easy tap-in after a low left cross from Emil Hallfredsson.
The visitors went even closer in the final minute as Carlos Carmona drilled a superb shot in from 30 yards but Navarro pulled off a brilliant diving save.
