David Beckham Zinedine Zidane - Real Madrid - Celebrating

Now with a crest, colors and a name, David Beckham has his sights on appointing Inter Miami CF's first manager.

Beckham is reportedly interested in hiring former teammate Zinedine Zidane and has held preliminary talks with the former Real Madrid manager, according to the Daily Mirror.

Zidane and Beckham spent three seasons together in Madrid, the last three years of Zidane's illustrious playing career that saw him win a World Cup, Champions League, European Championship, league titles in Italy and Spain, a Ballon d'Or as well as a cabinet full of other awards.

After retiring, Zidane made the transition to the touchline. He first was appointed Real Madrid assistant coach in 2013 before taking over their 'B' team the season later. In January 2016 he was named manager of the first team and won three consecutive Champions Leagues, stepping away from the team after defeating Liverpool 3-1 in the Champions League final in May.

Miami has been linked with Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Antoine Griezmann and other high-profile European stars as the team inches closer to beginning play in MLS, scheduled for 2020.
