CONCACAF Gold Cup tickets on sale Thursday

BRIDGEVIEW, IL - Tickets for the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup, to be held from June 6-24 in six cities across the United States, will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. CT this Thursday, March 29, through all TicketMaster outlets.


Fans who want to catch a game or two locally at Soldier Field can purchase individual game tickets for both the Gold Cup Semifinals (June 21) and Final (June 24), priced in advance at $75, $60, and $30. Tickets purchased on the day of game are subject to a price change. Group tickets can be purchased through the Fire by calling 888-MLS-FIRE and parties interested in suite information may contact Fire Director of Premium Seating, Steve DiLenardi at (708) 496-6729 or by e-mail at sdilenardi@chicago-fire.com.


An exclusive ticket presale for Fire season ticket holders began last Friday; for more information call the Season Ticket Holder Hotline at (708) 496-6800. In addition, a special two-game ticket package will be available to Friends of the Fire (season ticket holders and group leaders) by calling 888-MLS-FIRE.


About the CONCACAF Gold Cup
The Gold Cup is the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) showpiece event for men's teams as it crowns the regional champion. Twelve teams from North and Central America, as well as the Caribbean will compete throughout the month of June. The Gold Cup champion represents CONCACAF in the FIFA Confederations Cup held four years.
