CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA, resting most of its regular starters, earned a 3-3 draw with Cal State Fullerton in a preseason exhibition held this morning at The Home Depot Center's University Field 1. Chivas USA Supplemental Draft pick and U.C. Irvine product Anthony Hamilton scored goals on either side of halftime for the Red-and-White, while Lynwood native and former Chivas USA U-19 midfielder Éder Robles also scored in the first half for Chivas USA.
Chivas USA U-19 standouts Gabriel and Michael Farfán both started in midfield for Cal State Fullerton, with Gabriel scoring two of Fullerton's goals from the penalty spot. Midfielder Pete Kingman added a third goal for Fullerton in the second half.
Chivas USA has two preseason scrimmages scheduled for this Saturday at The Home Depot Center: vs. Chicago Fire (11 a.m.) and U.C. Santa Barbara (2 p.m.), both on University Field 1. Also on Saturday morning, the Sueño MLS Final 24 will play for a two-week trial with Chivas USA at The Home Depot Center's Main Stadium from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
