Bright future: USMNT U-20, U-23 teams impress in friendlies

The United States youth national teams wrapped up their March camps with a pair of impressive performances. 


On Sunday the U-23 side, led by MLSers Djordje Mihailovic, Jeremy Ebobisse and Miles Robinson — as well as European-based players Tim Weah and Josh Sargent — played out a scoreless draw against the Netherlands. The Dutch side featured Justin Kluivert, who was bought by Italian giants AS Roma last summer for $20 million. 

Keaton Parks, JT Marcinkowski, and Julian Araujo also started, while Derrick Jones, Donovan Pines, Marco Farfan and Jackson Yueill entered from the bench. 


Meanwhile on Monday, the U-20 side defeated Japan 2-1, as Andrew Carleton opened the scoring.
