AMSTERDAM — It's another full weekend slate for Americans plying their trade in Europe, including white-hot Tottenham netminder Brad Friedel. All times listed in ET.
ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE
Tottenham vs. Bolton (Saturday, 10 am on FoxSoccer.tv)
American: Brad Friedel (Spurs) - The former USMNT star has won four straight and is unbeaten since August. Friedel could see extra effort in front of him this weekend after Spurs flopped at home in Europa League play on Thursday, losing to 10-man PAOK without him in goal. Wanderers, who remain without Stuart Holden and several other regulars, have been White Hart Lane doormats in recent years.
Bolton have scored just one goal in losing four straight there.
ITALIAN SERIE A
Chievo vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 9 am)
American: Michael Bradley (CV) - Gradually gaining influence, the US midfielder will start as the Verona hosts look to shake off last week's thumping at AC Milan. This week, though, the club often trained with the American in a more advanced role and could at some point present that look against their nearby rivals.
Atalanta have never won a Serie A match at the Bentegodi, but have posted draws on their last three visits.
GERMAN BUNDESLIGA
Hamburg vs. FC Nürnberg (Sunday, 9:30 am)
American: Timothy Chandler (FCN) - Having snapped their win drought with his first goal of the season last week, Chandler will try to help Der Club move clear of the danger zone. It may seem a tall ask for them to start a win streak at HSV. Nürnberg have not won there since 1992, a span of 10 games. What's more, Hamburg are unbeaten over the last two months.
DUTCH EREDIVISIE
Heerenveen vs. AZ Alkmaar (Sunday, 10:30 am on Eredivisie.tv)
American: Jozy Altidore (AZ) - While a tough trip for many, AZ quite enjoy their treks to Friesland. The Eredivisie pace-setters have five wins and a draw to show for their last seven visits.
Stone-etched starter Altidore is successfully expanding his game, but has only one league goal since August. He should get chances; sixth-place Heerenveen will open up, allowing just over a goal-and-a-half per match.
DANISH SAS LIGA FC
Nordsjælland vs. FC Midtjylland (Sunday, 8 am)
American: Michael Parkhurst (FCN) - After setting up their later winner last round, the American could return to right back for a key contest. Not only do the Wild Tigers want to stay within growling distance of the top, a victory over third-place Midtjylland could give them an eight-point cushion for reaching the Champions League.
Nordsjælland have been rolling at home, winning six of seven. However, the Black Wolves have three wins and three draws from their last seven trips to Farum Park.
