Report: Colombian star Radamel Falcao could join Inter Miami CF this winter

Radamel Falcao has been linked with a move to Inter Miami CF for several months and there’s a new report that claims the Colombian forward could make arrive in MLS as early as January.

Fanatik reports if Falcao is not starting and scoring goals for Galatasaray by January, a move this winter to Inter Miami could be in the works.

The 34-year-old — who has two years left on his deal with the Turkish powerhouse — has three goals in four league appearances (three starts) this season. He also played the full 90 minutes in a 2-1 loss to Rangers FC in the qualifying round of Europa League qualifying.

Plans for Falcao, who came off the bench for Colombia to score against Chile in World Cup qualifying Wednesday, to join Inter Miami over the summer were impacted by travel restrictions due to the global pandemic and the birth of a baby, according to Colombian outlet AS. If he were to join Miami, he'd now have to contend with Gonzalo Higuain for playing time in addition to youngsters Robbie Robinson and Julian Carranza.
