Toronto FC look to bounce back from a Week 16 defeat when they host Atlanta United at BMO Field Wednesday night.

TFC (5-7-4) returned from their Gold Cup break and suffered a 3-0 defeat to FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium Saturday to extend their winless streak to eight games. Dominique Badji opened the scoring four minutes from halftime and Bressan made it 2-0 in the 51st minute when he headed in off a Michael Barrios corner kick. Badji capped the scoring with his second seven minutes later.

Atlanta (8-5-2) hope to pick up where they left off before the Gold Cup break, when they won seven of their last night all via clean sheets. The Five Stripes also marched on to the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals with a 3-2 win over Columbus Crew SC at MAPFRE Stadium on June 19. Brandon Vazquez scored the first and last goal and Miles Robinson added another for ATLUTD.

Atlanta United won the first meeting this season, a 2-0 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium with Tito Villalba and Julian Gressel scoring a goal in each half.
