The Mobile Mini Sun Cup continues in Tucson on Saturday, with the Seattle Sounders and FC Dallas squaring off in the desert as part of Preseason presented by Advocare.
Seattle Sounders
The Sounders are coming off their debut in the preseason tournament, with a 2-1 loss on Wednesday against bitter rival Portland Timbers. The Sounders took the lead through Handwalla Bwana before Portland came back to overturn the result.
Bwana is hoping to make more of a mark in his second MLS campaign.
“I learned about the level of play [last year],” he said to the team's website. “The game is a lot quicker, guys are stronger and faster. But now I’m used to it, and I know what to expect.”
FC Dallas
FC Dallas are making their Mobile Mini Sun Cup debut against the Sounders. They most recently played a doubleheader at Toyota Stadium, against Bayern Munich II and USL Championship opponent San Antonio FC, splitting the games.
In the meantime, the club have dropped their new kit for 2019 and signed their latest Homegrown player, Edwin Cerrillo.
