TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
FC Dallas have pulled from their academy once again, inking 18-year-old midfielder Edwin Cerrillo to a Homegrown deal, the club announced Thursday. Cerrillo is the club's 24th Homegrown signing, which is most in MLS.
Cerrillo joined the Dallas academy in 2015, where he has scored 12 goals in 71 appearances. After playing winger most of his life, Cerrillo switched seamlessly to holding midfield in recent years.
He has committed to play college soccer at the University of Maryland.
Dallas open their 2019 season on March 2 against the New England Revolution.
