Josef Martinez established a new single-season scoring standard with his 28th goal of the 2018 campaign, as Atlanta topped Heineken Rivalry Week visitors Orlando City, 2-1. Though his record-setting finish was as cool as cucumber ice cream, Martinez still breathed a sigh of relief after setting the mark by netting in his 10th straight road game (another MLS record, mind you). Form side Seattle rang up their seventh win in a row in Sunday's Heineken Rivalry Week capper, nipping Cascadia derby hosts Portland 1-0 on a late own goal. RSL run riot at Colorado, 'Caps continue push


Jefferson Savarino notched two goals and an assist to lead Real Salt Lake to a 6-0 demolition of nine-man derby hosts Colorado. The fourth-place Claret and Cobalt have consecutive road wins for the first time since last August. RECAP


Vancouver gained ground in the playoff race by coming back from two goals down to post a 3-2 victory at San Jose on Saturday night. The Whitecaps, who turned the match with three goals in the span of nine mid-second half minutes, are now unbeaten in five and just a point shy of the playoff line. RECAP
