FC Dallas are in the middle of the MLS pack this season in terms of goals scored, so will they be adding attacking reinforcements in the summer transfer window?

That's the word out of Panama, with reports emerging on Thursday that forward Jose Fajardo is finalizing paperwork to move to FC Dallas in the summer transfer window.

Fajardo, 24, plays for Independiente, who just won their first-ever first-division title in Panama last week. The striker has scored 19 goals in 35 appearances over the past season.

Word subsequently emerged on Thursday from Texas-based journalist Jon Arnold that FC Dallas are interested in taking a look at Fajardo, but do not have a deal lined up for the player.

The forward is also among the call-ups to Panama's provisional World Cup roster and has been in camp with Los Canaleros, so he could be in line for a trip to Russia for the tournament next month. The secondary transfer window opens in MLS on July 10.
