Bob Bradley's tenure with the Egyptian national team may be starting to yield dividends for his current club, as LAFC are reported to be chasing right back Omar Gaber, who helped the Egyptians qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and 2018 World Cup.

The report comes from English-language Egyptian soccer publication KingFut, who also noted that Bradley has been in pursuit of the player since the summer. Gaber is currently under contract at Swiss outfit FC Basel, but has struggled to find playing time to start the 2017-18 season.

According to the report, Gaber, who featured for Bradley during his tenure with the Pharaohs from 2011-2013, would the expansion side on a six-month loan deal with an option to make the move permanent in summer 2018.

Gaber could potentially represent the second major signing for Bradley and LAFC, following Mexican international Carlos Vela to the club. LAFC have also been linked in recent weeks with promising Uruguayan forward Diego Rossi.
