Let's all bask in the glow as USMNT star Bobby Wood continues to flourish, shall we? On Saturday, the 23-year-old bagged his second goal in his second Bundesliga game, opening the scoring as his team, Hamburger SV, faced Bayer Leverkusen.

He's the 1st American to score on both the 1st 2 matchdays of a Bundesliga season.
Unfortunately, things didn't turn out so well for HSV in the end, with Leverkusen topping them 3-1. A lot of the damage, though, happened after Wood was eventually subbed off.
In other news of USMNTers in the Bundesliga, John Brooks also enjoyed a productive Saturday, going a full 90 with impressive defensive efforts for Hertha Berlin. Thanks to his help, they kept a clean sheet against Ingolstadt, finishing the match with a 2-0 win.
