LA Galaxy terminate loan agreement with Brazilian striker Samuel

The LA Galaxy announced Thursday that the club terminated its loan agreement with Brazilian forward Samuel, who will be returning to Fluminense of Brazil’s Serie A.

The 23-year-old joined the Galaxy in January after spending the previous two seasons with Fluminense.

In eight MLS regular season appearances for the Galaxy, Samuel started four matches for the club. He also appeared in two CONCACAF Champions League games for the Galaxy, tallying the game-winner in the 11th minute that sealed LA's 1-0 victory in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Club Tijuana on March 12.
