The newest Red has landed.
After weeks of speculation, Jermain Defoe arrived in Toronto at last on Sunday, two days after his signing for Toronto FC was made official. And surprisingly, this is the first time the England international has ever traveled to Canada's largest city.
Reporters caught up with the 31-year-old striker upon his arrival at Toronto Pearson International Airport, and Defoe said, "I feel like a little kid" ahead of his new adventure. He's set to be introduced in a press conference on Monday.
