VIDEO: Vancouver Whitecaps play up every French-Canadian stereotype, poorly sing Celine Dion | THE SIDELINE

Celine Dion

If you've ever thought of hiring the Vancouver Whitecaps roster — Gershon Koffie in particular — to sing Celine Dion hits or prepare and serve poutine at your upcoming wedding, I've got three words of advice for you: Don't do it.

That's not to slight what seems to be a fun group of guys that could no doubt turn a wedding reception on its head and show everyone in attendance a good time, but as the above video indicates, Celine Dion love ballads and poutine are not in their wheelhouse.

Ahead of Wednesday night's Amway Canadian Championship final second-leg match between the Whitecaps and the Montreal Impact, the two teams' official Twitter accounts have wasted no opportunities to poke, prod and just have a little fun with one another since the first leg ended 0-0 two weeks ago Wednesday night.

More than just the trophy on the line tonight, is the nation of Canada's one representative place in the 2013-14 CONCACAF Champions League, which kicks off later this summer.
