POLL: Will Wondo top Lassiter's single-season goal record?

He's just one goal away from history.

With his 26th strike of the season on Sunday, Chris Wondolowski is now just one goal away from matching the single-season scoring record.

That mark, held by Roy Lassiter, has stood since MLS' inaugural season and has yet to be topped — although Stern John, Mamadou Diallo and Carlos Ruiz have come close.

All Wondo has to do is get a goal next weekend at JELD-WEN Field (a place he's never scored a goal in 180 minutes) and he'll pull even with "Rocket Roy." A second, and he'll be in a space all his own.
