Wizards face Wichita All-Stars in exhibition tonight

KANSAS CITY, MO - The Kansas City Wizards will take part in an exhibition match tonight in Wichita, Kansas when they face the Wichita All-Stars at 7:00 p.m. CT. The match will take place at Newman University's Wilkins Field in Wichita.


    The exhibition match will be the team's third stop on the 2005 

Mid-America Barnstorming Exhibition Tour, and marks the first postseason stop in the team's third year of touring the Mid-West. Preseason stops on this year's tour included matches in Springfield, Missouri and Tulsa, Oklahoma. In previous years, the Wizards have also played exhibition matches in Sedalia, MO; St. Louis, MO; Des Moines, IA; Omaha, NE; Oklahoma City, OK and Raleigh, NC.


The Wichita All-Stars are a new team in the Wichita area, composed of former Wichita Jets (PDL) and Wichita Wings (MISL) players. Tickets for tonight's exhibition match are $7 for adults and $5 youth 14 and under and can be purchased at the gate prior to the game.
