Drafted in the second round of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft (30th overall) out of San Diego State University, the San Jose native helped his hometown club win the 2012 Supporters' Shield, and was a regular starter at right wingback for TFC's Eastern Conference Championship team in 2016.

INTERNATIONAL: Born to Iranian parents, the 2012 MLS All-Star made his debut with the Iranian national team in 2013, playing a major role in 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualification and earning a place on the country's 2014 World Cup squad. Prior to committing to Iran, Beitashour had been called into one camp with the US national team, getting the call from then-head coach Jurgen Klinsmann in August of 2012.
