Ibeagha is an athletic center back who tried his hand in Europe before coming to MLS. He is solid when providing cover as a third center back, a replacement for regular starts in Maxime Chanot or Alex Callens or even as an occasional outside back.
OUTSIDE MLS: Signed with Danish club Horsens in Jan. 2014 and spent two seasons with the club, including loan stints to Fredericia in Denmark and Fram Reykjavik in Iceland. Played with San Antonio FC in 2017 where he earned 2017 USL Defender of the Year honors.
COLLEGE: Standout four-year career at Duke University from 2010-13 an was named Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2012 and earned first team all-ACC in 2012 and 2013. He was named third team all-America honors as a senior in 2013 and all-South region honors all four years and ACC all-freshman in 2010.
