Larin took MLS by storm with a historic rookie season in 2015, setting an all-time record for a rookie with 17 goals and proving he can score in a variety of ways. He followed that up AT&T MLS Rookie of the Year award-winning season with a 14-goal sophomore campaign, and has continued improving as a true No. 9.
INTERNATIONAL: Larin's performances in college earned him a full international debut for Canada in a friendly against Bulgaria on May 23, 2014. He has featured for the Canadians at the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and in 2018 World Cup qualifying, and has already logged more than 20 caps.
COLLEGE: Starred in two seasons at the University of Connecticut (14 goals as a freshman, nine as a sophomore) before leaving to sign a Generation adidas contract with MLS.
OUTSIDE MLS: He has played for Ontario-based club Sigma FC from 2007 through 2014. Larin also led his St. Edmund Campion High School to three OFSAA championships, finishing tops on the team in goals for the final three seasons.
