The Wright-Phillipses and ... Urkel? It's "Family Matters" with New York Red Bulls | SIDELINE

New York Red Bulls' brothers Shaun and Bradley Wright-Phillips celebrate BWP's goal vs. Philadelphia Union

A lot of teams like to say they’re just like family. The New York Red Bulls these days definitely have a better case than others.

With the recent addition of Shaun Wright-Phillips, along with younger brother Bradley Wright-Phillips, it’s mighty cozy these days in Harrison – almost as if it was a 1980s sitcom.

Enter the Once A Metro crew, who offered up one of the most clever – if not ridiculous – video spoofs of the 2015 MLS season using, you guessed it, Family Matters (you millennials will just have to Google it).

The remade intro, complete with grainy ‘80s-quality video, turns the Wright-Phillipses into the Winslows, Urkel and the crew, with plays on the “Wright-Phillips” name in the credit lines.

You’ve got Bradley and Shaun flashing cheesy smiles, along with dad Ian Wright-Phillips. There’s Dax Wright-Phillips, of course, Conor Lade Wright-Phillips and Luis Wrobles-Phillips (he’s clearly the whacky one of the bunch).

Even Urkel, er, Jaleel Wright-Phillips, makes an appearance. It's not the first time Once A Metro have turned back the clock, harkening back to a spoof on the '80s drama Dallas for the Red Bulls trip to face FC Dallas in May.

Check it out for yourself. It’s a light-hearted way to kick off the final installment of the Red Bulls-New York City FC rivalry this weekend (Sun., 7 pm ET; Fox Sports 1).
