FINAL LEG OF HONDA SUPERCLASICO SERIES WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT LOS ANGELES MEMORIAL COLISEUM: The 2005 Honda SuperClasico Series, pitting the Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA, will conclude with a match between the two rivals on Wednesday, August 10, at 7:00 pm (PT) at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Galaxy have already clinched the season series, winning each of the first three games, all played at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University - Dominguez Hills. The Galaxy - Chivas USA match will be the first half of a doubleheader in the historic building that night; Mexican clubs CA America and CD Guadalajara (Chivas USA's mother club) will meet in the nightcap. The game between the MLS sides will be broadcast locally on FSN West on a taped delay basis beginning at approximately 10 pm, but will be available to Galaxy fans on the usual radio outlets live - the stations to tune in are KMPC 1540 am in English and KMXE 830 am in Spanish.

CHICAGO FIRE AWAIT GALAXY ON THE WEEKEND AS EXTENDED ROAD TRIP CONTINUES: After Wednesday night's game, the Galaxy will continue their month-long road trip with a visit to the current co-leaders of MLS' Eastern Conference, the Chicago Fire, whom they face Saturday at 5:30 pm PT on FSN West at Soldier Field. The match is the third of five consecutive away contests in August for the Galaxy (and fourth overall after a July 24 match at New England) and will mark the first meeting between the Galaxy and Fire in 2005. Soldier Field is also the stadium where the Galaxy recorded their last MLS regular season victory outside of Southern California - a Jovan Kirovski tally giving them a 1-0 win over the Fire on June 12, 2004. The FSN West broadcast will begin with Galaxy GameDay at 5pm. Fans unable to watch the game will be able tune their radios to one of two stations, KMPC 1540 am for the English broadcast and KMXE 830 am for the Spanish.
