2021 International Friendly
United States vs. Jamaica
Stadion Wiener Neustadt â€“ Wiener Neustadt, Austria
March 25 – 1:00 PM ET

It's match No. 2 of at least 18 in 2021 — and the first of two international friendlies in Europe — as the US men's national team takes on Concacaf foe Jamaica at Stadion Wiener Neustadt in Wiener Neustadt, Austria Wednesday.

The USMNT then take on Northern Ireland at Windsor Park in Belfast Saturday.

After exclusively showcasing MLS players in a 7-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago at Exploria Stadium in January, Gregg Berhalter will get a look at a mostly European-based roster, with New York Red Bulls defender Aaron Long, Colorado Rapids midfielder Kellyn Acosta, Sebastian Lletget of the LA Galaxy and Orlando City SC forward Daryl Dike, on loan with Barnsley in the English Championship, being the exceptions.

They join the usual heavy hitters like Christian Pulisic, Zack Steffen, Gio Reyna, John Brooks, along with the recently-committed Yunus Musah. Brooks and Reggie Cannon will return to their respective clubs after the Jamaica match because of COVID-19 protocols.

Coached by Theodore Whitmore, the Reggae Boyz have 12 players seeking their first cap with eight of those players competing in England. Jamaica finished atop League B in Concacaf Nations League, earning promotion to League A during the next iteration of the tournament in 2022. They defeated Bermuda, 2-0, on March 11, 2020 in their last match.

The USMNT have dominated the all-time series, boasting a 16-3-8 overall record dating back to 1988.  The teams will meet again this fall in a pair of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
