Nashville SC's search for the first MLS win in club history takes them to BMO Field Saturday where they meet a Toronto FC side unbeaten to start the 2020 season.
When Tsubasa Endoh failed a late fitness test, Achara was given the nod and the rookie scored the lone goal in a 1-0 victory for Toronto FC (1-0-1) over NYCFC. Achara looked to get an 11th-minute goal, but was ruled offside on the play. With nine minutes left, Achara capitalized on a defensive miscue by NYCFC and tapped in at the back post for the winner.
Nashville SC (0-2-0) battled and were inches from a late equalizer, but Walker Zimmerman headed wide of the frame in a 1-0 loss to the Portland Timbers at Providence Park. Diego Valeri scored the decisive goal with a 12th minute volley.
