REAL SALT LAKE 0, CHIVAS USA 0

REAL SALT LAKE HEAD COACH JOHN ELLINGER

On finishing offensively:

"It's a pretty simple game. You have to finish your chances. There isn't any overtime; there isn't any penalty kicks; you have to finish your chances. Defensively we played well."

On earning points:

"You are trying to make the playoffs; we are trying to get points at home. We know we've played well enough to win the last two home games. If we don't get points at home, we have to get them on the road. That means we can't lose on the road."

REAL SALT LAKE MIDFILDER JASON KREISOn being confident:

"We have to be positive and confident to say that we dropped two points tonight. That's not good enough. When we are at home, we need all three points. There are no questions, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. We can make up for it on Saturday and be back where we need to be."

CHIVAS USA HEAD COACH BOB BRADLEY

On the team's performance:

"I still felt like it was a solid enough effort. This is difficult place to play. We came here hoping for three points but still feel like the concentration to take one was good."

On the offensive play:

"Tonight I felt as though we had stretches where we moved the ball around, but I didn't think we did well enough to turn our possession into chances on goal. That's a challenge on this field but that is certainly something that we needed to do better tonight."

On the team's turnaround:

"As an organization, Chivas USA realized that some adjustments were necessary after the first year. I think we've been able to improve our team by bringing in a few veterans, a few that know the league and combining it with some of the players that were here."

CHIVAS USA FORWARD FRANCISCO PALENCIA

On the play of RSL:

"I was watching Real the whole season and they've improved they are playing better compared to last year. Soccer is like this; sometimes the team that plays better doesn't win. I think they've had bad luck."

On the team's chemistry:

"I think it is working, talking to each other and exchanging ideas in the locker room, or traveling on the plane and at the end sometimes we stop practice to talk about the play that we should be doing better.

On the team's goals:

"We want to go to the playoffs I think that is the main thing. Our record is better than last year; in 13 rounds it is better than in the whole of last year.
