TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report

The Houston Dynamo could be adding to coach Wilmer Cabrera's options in defense with the signing of Panamanian defender Richard Peralta, according to a report Monday from Futbol Centroamerica.

The 24-year-old Peralta is currently under contract with Panamanian side Alianza, and has joined the Panamanian national team for a friendly on Tuesday in Trinidad and Tobago against the Soca Warriors.

The report says Peralta will immediately travel to Houston to following his duty for Los Canaleros. It is unclear whether it will be sign with the first team or to go on trial with the club.

The Dynamo have already assembled quite the collection of Central American players under Cabrera, including fellow Panamanian Adolfo Machado and Honduran talents Alberth Elis, Romell Quioto and Boniek Garcia.

They would have until May 1 to officially sign Peralta before the 2018 MLS Primary Transfer Window closes.
