FC DALLAS 1, SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES 1
FC DALLAS HEAD COACH SCHELLAS HYNDMAN
On the game:
"(It was a) fast-paced game. I think the game was too fast. It was a beautiful night. The weather was great. Both teams knew the importance of this game, and (there were) a lot of counterattack balls on both sides, and I thought (there were) a lot of lost possession balls on both sides. It was just what you would expect two teams trying to get into the playoffs to look like. So, a very exciting game from the beginning to the end."
FC DALLAS MIDFIELDER DREW MOOR
On the game:
"At the end of the day we'll take the point. With the way the game went, obviously it's good that they didn't go out of here with three points because that's a team we're battling for a playoff spot. So, we'll take the point and get our heads up and look to get six to nine points out of the last three games."
SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES HEAD COACH FRANK YALLOP
On the game:
"A little disappointed. We had it in our hands to win tonight. It was two poor decisions by the referee I thought, to change the game to be honest. The hand ball (Davino), and it doesn't hit (Francisco) Lima's hand. It doesn't hit anywhere on his arm, the penalty that ties the game. It's difficult at this time of the season; we could have gotten a win. So disappointed. The guys really worked hard tonight, against a good team, and deserved to win the game."
SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES FORWARD RYAN JOHNSON
On his goal:
"I'm a little bit lucky. It was my first touch, but I just tried to anticipate the ball that came through and I timed it well, so I got my one chance. I normally only get one chance anyway, so I pulled away. Sometimes you don't always get that goal."
