On what he expects from Saturday's game:
"I'd expect another very good game. The World Cup is over; Claudio [Suárez] and Landon [Donovan] are both back with their teams. In the case of the Galaxy, Frank [Yallop] has been on board long enough to start to turn things around, so I think it comes at an important time in the season for both teams, and we all know that it's a big rivalry. It's a big, big game at an important time of the year."
LOS ANGELES GALAXY HEAD COACH FRANK YALLOP
On his expectations for the Clásico:
"It sets up to be a fantastic game, because obviously [Chivas USA] have done very well this season and I feel we're starting to turn the corner and have some good results. We're excited and we're really looking forward to the game. It comes at an important time for both clubs. I expect a tough game, but a good game too."

On why the Galaxy will win:
"I'm excited because now it feels like a real rivalry. Last year it was different because they were an expansion team, obviously Bob's done a good job and now it feels real. Also the second time we played I wasn't here and that was Frank [Yallop]'s first game, so it was a little tainted and different. Now it's both teams at full strength, the way they want to be, playing well, and it's going to be good. Obviously the standings at this point play a huge part, three weeks ago we couldn't have said that; they could have. Now it makes sense and it's going to be a fun game. I'm excited for it."
