Nipsey Hussle honored with moment of silence before LAFC vs. FC Cincinnati

In the club's first home game since Los Angeles-born Nipsey Hussle passed away two weeks ago, LAFC paid tribute to the the rapper.


Prior to Saturday night’s game against FC Cincinnati, the club held a moment of silence for Nipsey. His funeral was held Thursday.


The supporter’s section at LAFC had several two-poles honoring the late rapper, who was prominent in the LA community both for his music and his local activism work.

Rapper Stix, a Watts native who wrote and performed the anthem "My Home" last year for LAFC and is a supporter, also paid tribute to his fallen counterpart.
