The LA Galaxy and Philadelphia Union meet for the only time this season when the clubs face off in an interconference clash at StubHub Center on Saturday evening. The Galaxy return home having seen their winless run extended to three games last time out, a 1-1 draw at Columbus Crew SC. The Union return to league play coming off a 2-1 home loss to New York City FC two weeks ago at PPL Park. Both teams advanced in the US Open Cup midweek, with Philadelphia edging the Rochester Rhinos in a shootout on Tuesday after a 0-0 tie and the Galaxy dispatching amateurs PSA Elite 6-1 on Wednesday.
